2nd
Annual Fuel the Cruzers Fundraiser
Saturday, June 13,
2009
The History
Cruzers would like to thank everyone; visitors, car owners,
sponsors & contributors (to view a list of the contributors,
and many volunteers that made our second "Fuel the Cruzer's"
Fundraiser a fun time for all. The turnout was lighter then
we hoped for, but the food and music were both fantastic. Our
raffle and silent auction were a great success.
Once again,
we can't thank Kurt, Jean, their family & an awesome staff
at "K&J Catering"
enough for their unwavering support for their gracious donations
of the hall, food and many items for the raffle, not to mention
the Grand Prize, a week stay in Palm Desert, California.
Our great
friend Del Howard from La'
Garage & Gallery was our MC for the night and what great
work he did! Thank you Del.
We could
not have been so successful without the unselfish donations
of so many contributors, both private and commercial. Many of
our local sponsors go above and beyond to support our group,
we cannot thank them enough. The music was fantastic as always
from the "UnReliables" who are incredible car show
friends and always a great band.
Lastly and
foremost, none of this show could be possible without the "Yellow
Shirts" (The History Cruze volunteer staff). The group
of volunteers that run the show are our most important asset.
Without the undying support of them, none of us would have a
Car Show to come to on Friday's.
When you
see them on the street, thank them for all their hard work and
long hours.
